I love these plates, I found these several months ago while I was thrifting and antiquing. They are stamped on the back old rose, John Maddocks and sons England. I thought they would look good in the cabinet I bought. I would like to purchase more of these but can't find them.

  1. Lots to comment on! Love the cabinet and love your log walls. The John Maddock and sons plates are lovely! You can find pieces of this pattern at www.replacements.com/webquote/MADOLR.htm Scroll down to see what they have. The story of the company is at: www.thepotteries.org/allpotters/681.htm Neat!

  2. Hi again, at Replacements you can register the pattern and they will keep you informed of any pieces they get. I was amazed at the variety. It is more costly to go through them...you may find it on Ebay. I looked but did not see the Old Rose pattern. You may just want to do thrift shop prices! A very fun treasure hunt though.
