love the brown chairs...I found something similar at a YMCA thrift store. I use the chair in my office. My cost $20.00. The bathrooms are great. I love the wall technique in the 1st bathroom. I am hoping to do this technique on my basement walls. They are poured concrete and I think they would turn out very old world looking. I'm not doing them in green shades all earth tones. I also like the black and white, very farm house style.

Update on the Lamp shade that I made. I already have someone who wants it and I don't have it listed on Etsy yet. YAAAHOOO! Talk about making a crafter feel good. Thanks!

This is a lamp shade I made out of everything old and vintage. The shade it self is very old and all the crochet hand stitched pieces that I used are old even the leather button is old. The ribbon is new, I used brown and leopard print to bring out the details. The lamp base is black wood and metal. I am having trouble with my Gmail that's why I haven't posted anything on my Etsy store yet. I hope to have this resolved soon, so I can list this lamp and several other items. All my pieces are one-of-a-kind. When I had my store that's what everyone wanted was my one-of-a-kind pieces and custom painted furniture.

I have been viewing other blogs and have found some beautiful tassels. I thought I would make one to see how it would turn out. The top is from the end of a curtain rod, I used brown, cream and leopard print ribbon, along with a antique hand stitched spread. The end of the tassel has a real bird egg with a bead attached with a chain. This came from some antique jewelry I bought. This tassel is very french looking.

I bought the picture yesterday at the thrift store for $2.95 on the back it had "Maid Marion" from original painting of Albert Lynch 1901. I don't care for the frame and will change it. The apothecary jar was also a thrift store find for .95 cents, I added brown and cream silk ribbon and an old key. The flower pot is old and I put a small wreath with greenery in it. The arrangement on my kitchen door is a tin cone I found at Michael's on sale $14.00 and the flowers were all 2 for $1.00. I love to make arrangements and vignettes.

Valentine Day Arrangement
Thinking about valentines day. The arrangement in my living room is a valentine box I found at a thrift store for .50 cents and a handmade antique towel for .25 cents. I used one of my necklaces to add some sparkle to the arrangement. The dome is from a trip I took this summer and I added it atop a bowl from Michaels.

Just look at all those goodies. Boy did I have fun today shopping. I found everything on the table except the old wooden dough bowl and the placemats. The place setting was found last weekend on my hunt for a tablescape cost $9.00 for four place setting all mix matched. I got excited over the antique ironstone I found. The knowles pitcher was my favorite with all that patina. Also I found a early 1800's magazine rack and four antique lace panels in mint condition. I will be listing some of these on Etsy.
